| Regardless of what style hydroponic systems you decide on, pH is of utmost concern. If pH is too high (alkaline) or too low (acidic), it will restrict the uptake of nutrients through the roots of your plants. If gone unchecked, plants can sit there with a 15-course meal in front of them and literally starve to death because their potential for hydrogen intake (pH) is giving them "lockjaw" and they can't open their hungry little mouths to eat! |
